Distant learning

Maldives College of Higher Education (MCHE) has revealed that a meeting was held with the college and officials of 6 foreign universities on distant learning.College of Higher Education reveals that the meeting is the first meeting to be held in Maldives under the program “Edu Share Project”. Edu Share is an initiative of UK Open University and is participated by Scotland, Turkey, Nepal, Cambodia and Maldives.

The objective of the meeting is to assist in designing of e learning courses as well as to provide information on how to assess the quality of teaching skills. Further the meeting is also aimed at sharing information on such practices and technologies and facilities used in the process.

Maldives College of Higher Education revealed that the meeting would be held at Paradise Island Resort till the 28 of the month. The meeting will be attended by government bodies and private parties involved in the education sector as well by those foreign universities taking part in the program.
