First and foremost i like to mention that i am not a supporter of Republican/Jumhoori party.

I ready with utter disappointment to know that a political parties meeting was distrupted yet again. This time no its not theose NSS servicement under the comand of anyone that distrupted it , but its the common people fed with properganda and pumbed with arrogance and ignorance that did it. and all this in the year 2008. one would assume with all the reforms brought by relentless number of reformists in the country would atleast enlighten the common followers of whatever party it is , not to take pich folks and fire and go out wich hunting like back in 18 hundreds :S. Political freedom comes with political maturiy, and any party that encourages this sortah behavior should be publicly punished (hopefully by the new independant elections commision) but most of all by their own party. No one should take their partys name and commit crimes, that makes to show that the whole party is full of thugs. MDP the first reformist partys credibility has been undermined by such thugs, as for DRP they set out with less association with (or better at veling associations) thugs , but recently more and more levels of escalating acts of intimidation is surfaceing. Any sensible person could reason , okey this is how they promote thier party , now if they come into power these ppl who hang around with stones and battons in their hands would be given positions of power, then what ??? . oh boy this is soo basic, i dont know why bigger news media outlets in maldives hasent taken such a stance. To show each political party is dsciplined and responsible heads should roll from whitin the party for beaches in ehtics so that public can then see that its a credible party, so far you can honestly say not a single memeber in any of the parties have been publicly stripped down from their positions (whithin the party , or incase of DRP whiting the cabinet, or appointed members). This type of behaviour doses not only make themselves look bad , it questions our , as in publics inteligence, and I for one am not going to take whatever they dish out, I demand from my elected party councils to make sure we are reflected in our ture patriotic image, and not a bunch of cheap thugs.
